Who am I?
That’s a good question and it depends on who you ask. I am a friend, a daughter, a granddaughter, a sister, a niece, a mother, a step-mother, a wife (and an ex-wife), an aunt and even a grandma. I am different things to different people. I honestly don’t know who others think I am. What I hope is that to my husband I am his best friend, the love of his life and his partner in crime. To my daughters I hope they feel that I am their biggest fan (and maybe sometimes their worst nightmare) and that they are my greatest accomplishments. To my parents I hope that they consider me to be one of their greatest accomplishments. To my friends I hope they feel that I am loyal, supportive and a good listener (even when I am not physically with them).
Truth is, I really don’t know who I am. This blog is the beginning of my discovery process. What I am and what I want to be may be different things. What others think of me or how they see me is important but also insignificant. To those I am closest to, it is extremely important, to the masses, it really isn’t. This is my journey to discovering who I am and what my true voice is. I invite you to join me in this journey and welcome any and all comments and feedback.
